Description:

Veliko Tarnovo-Ruse is definitely the longest e-bike route connecting two cities in Bulgaria, but it mostly passes on a very quiet road away from the busy traffic, ending with the natural wonders of Rusenski Lom.
The route will take you through the village of Arbanasi – the ethnographic treasure of Bulgaria and the place with perhaps most accommodation places per square kilometer in the country. From there after Gorna and Dolna Oryahovitsa you’ll continue on a quiet road in a relatively good condition, although poorly marked with sign until Byala, In Byala it is worth seeing the Clock Tower and the bridge of Kolyo Ficheto, located a few kilometers west of the town to the main road Veliko Tarnovo – Ruse.
The village of Borovo, Dve Mogili and the sights of the Orlova chuka cave, the medieval fortress Cherven, the village of Koshov with impressive rock formations, the Ivanovo rock monasteries created by the monks already in the beginning of the 13th century, as well as the Besarbovski Rock Monastery are really worth visiting. Rousse is a cosmopolitan city with exceptional sights and rich history. The most interesting building in the city center is the building of the Profitable Building. Also visit the historical museum, Zahari Stoyanov‘s house, the Baba Tonka Museum, the city life museum and the transport museum or the Pantheon of Revival.
Wine tasting is offeredat the boutique winery Levent and the entertainment options in Ruse include horse riding and a karting track.
