Description:
In Silistra on land border you pass in Romania, from where about 500 meters from the checkpoint there are two ferry crossings, which regularly every half hour make courses to Calarasi. On the other side of the Danube there is a hotel and a restaurant.
About 10 km from the ferry, there is the town of Calarasi with evangelical church, a museum, a house museum of Anna and Marinera Popescu.
