The route starts from Oltenita Park (18 meters above sea level, 0.8% slope) and heads to the Northeast exit of the city. The route remains relatively flat, with no noticeable differences in altitude, when at km. 3.9 (17 m above sea level, 0.6% slope) is the starting point of a more serious climb, marking the transition between the Danube and its third terrace. After climbing, the track follows the contour between the plane and the terrace. At the exit of the Chateau Veche (13.3 km, 34 meters above sea level, 1.1% slope), a sharp downhill begins, marking the transition between the third and second terrace of the Danube. At 21.7 km (16 m above sea level, 0.2% slope), in the village of Chiselet, there is the transition from the second terrace to the lower terrace of the Danube as the route continues along it to Calarasi. From this point, the route remains relatively flat, with slight differences in altitude, up to 10 m. Between Manastirea and Dorobantsu (32.4 km, 13 meters above sea level, 1.3% slope), the route passes by Lake Mostistia. Between Bogata and Rasa (48.8 km, 13 meters above sea level, 0.2% slope), the route passes by Lake Galatui. After leaving the village of Gradistea, the trail surrounds the Lake Jeserul Calarasi (km 60.9, at 12 m above sea level – 0.4% slope) and goes to Calarasi, with the endpoint Park Dumbrava (68.9 km, 16 m above sea level, -2.4% slope). |
